Envelopop privacy policy
App: Envelopop (savings challenge tracker), by Tom Graulus Last updated: 23 October 2026
The short version
We don't collect any data. There's no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Your challenges stay on your iPhone.
No bank linking
The app never connects to a bank or moves money. You set money aside yourself (in cash envelopes or your own savings account) and mark it in the app.
What's stored, and where
- Your challenges (names, amounts, dates, which envelopes/weeks are done) are saved in a file on your iPhone, inside the app's own storage. It's shared only with the app's own widget on the same iPhone so the widget can show your progress.
- Your settings (reminders on/off and the reminder time) are saved on your iPhone.
- Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else. The app makes no network requests of its own.
Widgets and reminders
The widget reads your challenges from your iPhone. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone; nothing is sent to a server. You can turn reminders off in the app's Settings or in iOS Settings.
Sharing
A progress card (an image) is only shared when you tap Share, to the app you choose. You can hide the amounts first. If you choose "Save Image", iOS asks for permission to add it to your Photos; the app never reads your photo library.
Purchases
The one-time unlock is handled by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your name, Apple Account or payment details.
Your data, your control
Delete a challenge from its menu, or delete everything by removing the app. CSV export (Pro) creates a file only when you ask for it and hands it to the app you pick.
Children
The app doesn't collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address and in the app.
