Spotchime privacy policy

The short version: Spotchime collects no data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Your parking spots stay on your iPhone.

Location. Spotchime uses your location only while you use it, or when you run its "Park here" action (from Siri, Shortcuts, Control Center or the Action Button), to save where you parked and to show the way back. It never tracks you in the background, and your location is never sent to us.

Maps and directions. To show the street name and the walking time, the app asks Apple Maps about the spot's coordinates, the same way the Maps app does. Directions open in Apple Maps. Apple's privacy policy applies to those requests.

Photos and notes. Photos you take or choose, notes, levels and bays are stored on your device, in storage shared only with Spotchime's own widgets and Lock Screen countdown. They are included in your own device backup. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.

Alarms and notifications. Meter alarms and reminders are scheduled on your device by iOS.

Purchases. The one-time unlock is processed by Apple. We never receive your name, Apple Account or payment details.

Your data, your control. Swipe a spot in History to delete it, or remove everything by deleting the app.
